Characters

There are several different characters in the play. Among them is Hamlet, the main character, Claudius, Hamlet's uncle and also the villain of the play, Gertrud, Hamlet's mother, The Ghost who is the recently deceased father of Hamlet, Ophelia, the one whom Hamlet is in love with, Laertes, the brother of Ophelia, and Polonius, the father of Ophelia and Laertes.
